Kania Gandasetiawan is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine where she earned dual degrees including a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Bachelor of Science in Genetics. She holds a Single Subject Credential in Music from California State University, Long Beach.
She has performed as a violinist and violist with various ensembles, such as the Orchestra Collective of Orange County, University Symphony at the University of California, Irvine, and Berkeley Summer Symphony, as well as a saxophonist with the Anteater Pep Band. Currently, Ms. Gandasetiawan serves as an Assistant Director and Conductor for the Community Youth Orchestra of Southern California in Irvine and as a private instructor in Orange County.
Ms. Gandasetiawan is a credentialed music teacher in the state of California and teaches Elementary Strings, Elementary Band, and General Music in the Rowland Unified School District.
